{Honored}

My photo of Autumn is currently being featured on "Critique Me" at Click It Up A Notch! What this means is that others who are in the know on photography look at my photo and tell me how it could be better, this is priceless advice from other photographers who really know their stuff!

Thanks Courtney for featuring me this week!

Check out the amazing site and blog if you have any interest in photography at all!

{Thinking}

One of the things I love most about having my camera is being able to capture fleeting moments when she isn't looking. When she's not posing. When she is just being herself.

Here she was sitting in the window looking outside for a few minutes and I caught her looking away at something in front of her, I thought it was such a pretty picture. I love that her hair is messy and not super fixed.

{Sweetness}

Every year it seems that I happen to miss the Texas bluebonnets and never get a picture of my daughter in them. This year I missed them again but I found some beautiful wildflowers, so we decided to hop out of the car and do a quick photo session when we found some by the road.

The sun was bright and beautiful but I did use some post editing in this picture. It is my favorite one of the bunch. My daughter is 4 here, it was only a few months ago but she has grown so much since then.

{Autumn}

This is my furry daughter Autumn. I have had her for 6 years. She was a stray and was a tiny little runt when she was found. I nursed her back to health and she has been my love ever since. I had another cat also, Ian, who was with me for 13 years until I had to send him over the rainbow bridge to end his pain from kidney failure.

I love this picture of Autumn because it represents her so well. Loving the sun, relaxing, and looking through those beautiful eyes at the world. I loved the bright light that was coming through the window bathing her in sunshine, the way it illuminated her.
